Dolphin Dreaming
William Giese was inspired to create “Dolphins Dreaming” while at Bellingen Beach, Australia . The design is based on an aboriginal story of a dreamtime ceremony. The local peoples make ceremony with the intention of calling the dolphins of Bellingen Beach. The dolphins would then herd fish towards the people waiting with nets to catch the fish and then share them with the dolphins. A beautiful example of inter-species hunting collaboration, humans, dolphins, and the Rainbow Serpent! The rainbow serpent is one of their deities and a gateway to Dreamtime.
